Summer Room Sublet in Allston Townhouse

NOTE: I'm posting for my roommate who is subletting his room. His name is Suttree and it is his contact information on this listing.

This is a summer sublet for any amount of time from any date April to August 31st, 2025, with shorter time-spans...
than that full April-August time-span available on discussion (i.e., needing to start the sublet later than April or end it earlier than August). There may be the possible option to renew for a year-long lease starting September 1st if desired. The sublet is for a single bedroom in a five-bedroom Allston townhouse (townhouse is not split into individual units, and there are three floors total plus a basement). The rent is $900/month plus utilities for the duration of the sublet, and if renewed for a year in September, the rent from that point onward should be $1020/month. There are no fees and no deposit for the sublet. House tours can be arranged.

- LGBT-friendly is a requirement.
- Four other tenants will be in the house for a total of five. Household is mixed-gender. Other tenants are largely quiet people in their 20s. No smoking is allowed. Guests are alright as long as they are discussed with the house.
- House comes fully furnished (including items such as cookware, dishware, handtowels, etc.) and has two living rooms, a full kitchen with microwave, four bathrooms in total, a study, a dedicated spot for bicycles inside, an enclosed porch, a yard with seating, and some spare room for storage in basement.
- Amenities include dishwasher, garbage disposal, free in-unit laundry (in the basement), plenty of storage space if needed including bike storage, and an outdoor yard area with seating.
- For transportation, the house is within immediate distance of bus stops for the 66, 64, 57 and 501 routes, and a five to seven minute walk from the Warren Street station on the Boston College Green Line. For commuter rail access, we are a ten minute walk from the Boston Landing station servicing the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line. There is a nearby BlueBike station, and for those with a car, we also have dedicated free parking spots for the house.
- No utilities are included in the rent. Water is not included in the rent either. There is no central air conditioning, but an in-window A/C unit will be available. No pets allowed.
- Room is furnished with bed, shelves, and desk. Please ask for details.
- Feel free to ask for the address and about the possibility of a tour, or for more photos of the house. The full address is unlisted to avoid getting spam mail. The house is located on Cambridge Terrace in Allston at zip code 02134.
