Bedroom in girls apartment 5 minutes from Porter Station
Hi there,
We are three girls (28/30/31) looking to fill the fourth room starting August 1, 2026.
This is a pretty spacious 4-bedroom apartment, 5 minutes walking distance from the red line and commuter rail at Porter Square. Target and Starmarket... are also only 5 minutes away.
IIdeally, you would be a female graduate student in your mid-20s to early 30s, tidy, and happy to help out with keeping our common spaces clean. We are two working professionals, and I am a soon-to-be second-year PhD student at Brandeis, commuting to and from campus with the commuter rail every other day. Wifi + Utilities will be around 100$ in the summer and around 140$ in the the winter.
There is one 18-year-old cat (soon 19) in the apartment. Just for reference, I have a cat allergy myself but have not had any issues with her, so it might just depend on your sensibilities.
Because we have central heating, we have a system of air vents and tunnels going through our apartment, which is great for heating in the winter and cooling in the summer. However, your room and mine are connected through the wall vent, which means that sound isolation is not perfect, and that is why I try to be very conscious of the noise level from my side, and I would want my future roommate to be just as aware. This is also why I would prefer someone who also needs to focus on their studies.
That being said, we are three open-minded and open-hearted girls who love a little hallway chitchat or just casually hang out in the kitchen or in the living room.

Washer (2.50$/wash) and dryer (2$/drying) are in the building but not in our unit.
